Cheryl gives her fans rare look at her toddler son, Bear, after ‘interesting’ year

Cheryl has given her fans a rare look at her toddler son, Bear, as she looked back at an "interesting" year.

Taking to her Instagram Stories on New Year's Eve, the singer shared a series of photos looking back on the last 12 months. The highlight reel included photos of the mum on holidays, meeting Prince Charles, and spending time with her friends - including her former Girls Aloud bandmates, Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh. She also gave fans a glimpse at Bear, her 21-month-old son that she shares with her ex boyfriend, Liam Payne. Beginning with a brief look at Bear's first birthday party in March, she wrote:

“March Bear turned 1! What a moment for us… what a day for him and his friends."

The picture was the only reference to Liam, who she split from in July this year. Other photos showed the toddler wearing a pair of headphones, with Cheryl joking that he was "learning to juggle." Another photo showed Bear running around in a park, chasing after a ball. She ended the series of Instagram Stories with the cover of her recent interview from The Sunday Times' Style Magazine. She captioned the photo:

"To conclude my year has been very... interesting. 2019 let's go..."
