Charity Dingle praised by Emmerdale fans after she exposes DI Bails

Charity Dingle has been praised by Emmerdale viewers after bravely taking a stand against DI Bails.

It was recently revealed that the long-time character was groomed and sexually and emotionally abused by the police officer when she was 14 years old. "All women count? Except me, yeah? Because I'm guessing if I counted for anything then you wouldn't have hurt me, would you?"

Despite DI Bails' insistence that he tried, she continued:

Charity began to pull out some of the £20,000 hush money that Bails had given her, admitting she was "wrong to ever take a penny from you."
