You might want to put on a raincoat.

The weather has certainly taken a turn for the worse as rain and winds batter the country. While this morning was dry for the most part, according to Met Éireann we're going to see a lot of rain, with spot flooding in parts of the country. The weather forecaster said: "Very wet in Atlantic coastal counties this morning, with a risk of spot flooding. Mainly dry elsewhere, with just scattered patches of drizzle and with the odd bright spell. "Rain will affect the eastern half of the country this afternoon and evening, much of it light, but drying out elsewhere. Mild, but breezy, top temperatures 12 to 14 C., in fresh and gusty southerly winds." Tonight will take a dip in temperature but will hopefully stay mainly dry. "Patches of drizzle and rain clearing eastern coastal counties early tonight to give a mainly dry night, with a mix of cloud and clear spells. Cool, lowest temperatures 3 to 7 C. Moderate to fresh south to southeasterly winds will increase strong along the Atlantic Seaboard."
