Brelfies: Mums take social media by storm with their breastfeeding selfies

Twitter declared 2014 the year of the selfie. Now, breastfeeding selfies (aka brelfies) are set to become one of the parenting trends of 2015, as mums take to social media to share photos of themselves breastfeeding their babies. The brelfie has been described as a celebration of motherhood by many online who say that the photos help to kick out against the taboo around breastfeeding in public. One Twitter user posted, "People just need to grow up and accept that's how babies are fed! #Brelfie." Photos of celebrity mums, including Miranda Kerr, Alanis Morisette, Gwen Stefani and Gisele Bündchen, breastfeeding their children have no doubt inspired mums to take their own pics, the number of which is set to increase with the rise of the #brelfie.  

#JamesKnight is now 8 months old! These are the moments a mother lives for. Breastfeeding should not be taboo- and bottle feeding should not be judged- it's ALL fun for the whole family:)
