Could you even begin to imagine going into full-on labour in a car with a group of firemen delivering your baby on the roadside? It's not the stuff of hypnobirthing class, but if the baby arrives safely, that's all that matters. Well, according to sources, a women did just that at 3.30am this morning when her eager little mite just couldn't wait to get out and see what all the fuss was about. The Dublin Fire Brigade from Kilbarrack Station helped to deliver the baby after an ambulance was called to Junction 4 exit off the M50. Mother and brand new baby are doing well. We hope the dramatic entrance has smoothed the way for a calmer first few days for mum and baby.
