A Wine Theme Park Just Opened In France… And We Are On The Next Flight

OK, so having been to Disney in both France and Florida I must admit I love a good theme park as much as the rest of them. But you got to admit that at times, the long lines, screaming kids and roller coaster panic attacks can be a little too much to handle too, no? As in, surely other things can be just as fun, right? Too right, mamas. You know what is fun? Wine. Specifically, a new wine theme park in France that proves dreams do come true. Introducing La Cité du Vin (the City of Wine), just opened on the banks of the Garonne River in Bordeaux. Expect expert-led wine tastings, restaurants, wine shops, a simulator boat ride and even an ode to hangovers in the form of a huge plush chair where you sit and listen to famous stories of inebriation. Well, guess who have just cancelled whatever else we had planned this summer and are getting on the first plane/ferry/train outta' here!
