LEGO was probably the biggest motivator for starting a family for The Man and I. Sure we wanted to experience all the magic and joy of parenthood but we also really wanted to play with Lego again and figured having a child was one great way to revisit the carefree LEGO-days of our youth. Now an incredible new book, Beautiful Lego: Wild! by Mike Doyle showcases amazing nature-inspired LEGO masterpieces from artists around the world. Landscapes, botanical marvels, animals, amazing scenery are all brought to life with detail so intricate it is hard to believe they are made with Lego – some using up to 70,000 individual pieces. legobookcover For artist Tom Poulson, "LEGO is the best puzzle in the world... There are infinite combinations, and it's possible to create pretty much anything your mind can imagine." Poulson's incredible bird sculptures became an official LEGO set this year.
