We couldn't resist this story. Can you imagine the cuteness of 600 babies wriggling their little nappy-clad bums to a race line? In a bid to beat a Guinness World Record, Japanese publisher Benesse organised one of the cutest baby events we've ever seen  in Yokohama, Tokyo. Parents were invited to enter their little cherubs aged between 6-16 months to participate in the exhausting three-metre race! Screen Shot 2015-11-24 at 12.28.28 The competition, involving 601 babies, was deemed a new Guinness World Record, breaking the previous mark of 451 infants at a similar race in China last year. Screen Shot 2015-11-24 at 12.28.10 Not all of the competitors were feeling, well, quite so competitive that day. There were tears, dropping-of-lips and some bemused faces, but they got there in the end with the help of some jangly keys and iPhones to entice. Perfect for parents of little wrigglers. Screen Shot 2015-11-24 at 12.28.45 We think this is the perfect rainy-day idea if you're hanging out with some of your mum pals. Just bring your babies, coffee and smartphones, set them up for a couple of three-metre races, watch and giggle. Send us your pics if you do, we'd love to see the little rascals, editorial@HerFamily.ie.
