Children under five-years-old will go free on public transport from today.

Bus Éireann, Iarnród Éireann, Luas, Dublin Bus, and DART will now offer free fares for those travelling who are under five years of age. The decision comes as the National Transport Authority (NTA) want to make travel more affordable for families. https://twitter.com/TFIupdates/status/936202496845991936 The company's CEO, Anne Graham, said that the initiative is part of NTA's fare changes that were announced earlier this year. She said:
"There is free travel for all under-fives on subsidised public transport services, starting today. "As part of our determination earlier this year, we announced that all under fives get to travel free on Bus Éireann, Iarnród Éireann, Luas, Dart and Dublin Bus services."
