A search and rescue operation has located a group of 20 school children who were missing in the Brecon Beacons mountain range in South Wales. Dyfed-Powys Police confirmed a Coastguard helicopter has landed near the St Alban's youngsters, aged in their early to mid teens, and reportedly in four groups of six. They were not accompanied by an adult and embarked on the climb as part of the programme to compete for a Duke of Edinburgh Award. Brecon_beacons_arp The alarm was raised at lunchtime at approximately 1pm and three teams as well as the Coastguard RAF helicopter joined the search but heavy cloud hampered the effort
