"My mommy has always taken care of me and I want to take care of her."

An 11-year-old girl has created a lemonade stand to try and raise money for her mum's transplant surgeries. Nemiah Martinez, from New Mexico in the United States, is selling the summery beverage for €1.26 ($1.50) in an effort to help her mum, who is in need of a kidney and pancreas transplant. According to ABC News, she has been selling three flavours of the drink out of her garage every Saturday. She added:
"My mommy has always taken care of me and I want to take care of her. "I have been able to raise $210.50 from my lemonade stand and I am so happy. "I see how much my mom is struggling and all I want to do is help her, if you see me around town, I hope that you stop by."
However, her story soon went viral - and donations for the mother-daughter duo began to flood in, with many people commenting on how heartbreaking it was. At the time of writing, she has raised €3,219 ($3,841) through her GoFundMe.
