Penneys has an €8 version of these classic Chanel shoes and we NEED them

When it comes to high-end footwear, it doesn't get more classic than Chanel.

Gucci loafers have become the 'it' designer shoe of the past couple of years, but if we had that kind of cash to spend, we think we'd rather splash on some footwear that's a little more timeless. Chanel's espadrilles are something we see year-in, year-out thanks to their classic look and versatility. They may not be showy but they're definitely something that you'd get a load of use out of. You could wear them with almost anything for years to come, making them a solid investment piece. Sadly, prices for these babies start at over €500 for a pair so we don't see us being able to afford them any time soon. We'll have to settle for a dupe and we don't think we'll do much better than these ones from Penneys. Like the Chanel originals, they come in nude and black. Unlike the Chanel originals, they don't have the brand's distinctive logo - but they also cost €8, so we can make our peace with that.
