1. Dual Purpose Rooms
Also known as on/off rooms, we're working on creating a dining room/family room in our house at the moment by using a table that can be put away when not in use.

The biggest room in my house is my bedroom which is nice but fairly pointless when you consider just how little time we spend in our bedrooms.
