Look, we don't know about you, but as far as we are concerned, pumpkin carving is a Halloween tradition that is all sorts of overrated.

All that labour, all the mess – and most often, it never quite ends up looking as good as the ones we have poured over on Pinterest anyway. Enter painted pumpkins – the much-less-hassle way out when it comes to doing Halloween-y crafts with the kids. You're welcome, mamas: 1.
