Ten soups have been recalled by Musgrave Retail Partners because they may contain plastic.  The warning about the soups, made by Ballymaguire Foods and stocked in SuperValu and Centra stores, was issued after Musgrave “initiated a precautionary product recall on a number of its Own Brand soup varieties due to the possible presence of hard particles, which may present a choking hazard”. Eight of the recalled soups were stocked in SuperValu stores with a further two varieties available at Centra. The following varieties are affected: soup Musgrave said: “We take food safety extremely seriously and are investigating the issue. “It is important to note this is an isolated incident and only a limited number of batches have been withdrawn.” Consumers who may have purchased any of the following products are advised not to consume the soup and to return it for a full refund.
