This Prosecco News Definitely Won’t Make You Smile…

Prosecco has become the world's favourite beverage but we have some news that will wipe the smile off your face (quite literally). According to the Daily Mail, a dentist has revealed that the sparkling, gorgeous drink isn't good for your teeth. Dr. Mervyn Druian of the London Centre for Cosmetic Dentistry told the publication that "the prosecco smile" is a thing and we "don't realise the damage" it can cause to teeth. via GIPHY Apparently each glass contains approximately one teaspoon of sugar, but it's not all bad news as there is something you can do to combat it. He advises brushing your teeth with a "pro-enamel toothpaste" as well as swilling water around your teeth between drinks. So there you have it, we'll be stocking up on special toothpaste and bottles of water.... and Prosecco of course!
