Birthday Cakes Are a Thing of The Past, We’re All About The Birthday Cake Croissants

From the Donutccino to Ice Cream Donut Sandwiches, it feels like the world is going mad for extravagant sweet treats at the moment. The latest? A Birthday Cake Croissant. Pastry chef Thiago Silva reportedly came up with the creation which is basically a croissant with sprinkles mixed into the dough and a yummy mascarpone filling.

At the moment, they are only available in New York but surely it’s only a matter of time before they eventually make their way across the Atlantic. Silva also has a number of other delicious-looking creations on his Instagram page including a Peanut Butter Jelly Croissant and a Cookies 'n' Cream Croissant.
