The classic taste of gingerbread is the (Christmas!) star of this seasonal cocktail featuring Zacapa Rum and of course real gingerbread. Ingredients 50ml Zacapa 23 Rum 25ml fresh lemon juice 40ml gingerbread Syrup* 20ml egg whites *Gingerbread syrup 125g caster sugar 125g Demerara sugar 300g water 4tsp ground ginger 2tsp ground cinnamon 1/3tsp nutmeg Pinch of salt Pinch of black pepper Method To make the gingerbread syrup, add the sugar and water to a pot and heat until sugar dissolves.
